Heidi is the founder and Chief Connector of CommunityConnective. Heidi has been connecting people to each other since about 2nd grade when she was always the first to introduce herself to anyone new in the neighborhood. Heidi lives at the juncture of nonprofits and technology and loves connecting organizations to tools that help them with their important work. She is a highly effective communicator, and uses her skill to teach at conferences and nonprofit organizations, to write for her own blog and as a guest blogger for others. She believes that innovation, creativity, tenacity, and good old fashioned common sense go a long way toward making a difference in the world. Heidi is passionate (some would say addicted!) to Twitter and uses a variety of social media to learn more about just about anything. Heidi has never considered working anywhere but in the nonprofit/social good sector. Her focus throughout her career has been on creating innovative programming and fundraising events, working with boards, managing volunteers, and creating experiential learning opportunities for children and adults.
